Frauds who should be in prison soon

I need to know how many people have been duped by this company. We need to come together and create a consolidated case in the consumer court.


I have an order for 3 items which was to be delivered on 24 Aug. None were delivered by that date. They call 2 hours before and mention that delivery is happening. 2 items were delivered in this fashion. The third one is yet to be delivered.


I went and met them at the store on Oct 2 after repeated phone calls (which no one picks up or doesn’t call back after promising to do so). They assured me that the delivery and assembly of all items would be done that night between 9:30 and 10:00 PM. The assembly person came over and laughed at my plight mentioning that there is no way they would deliver it then.


I called them at 10:00 and they mentioned the truck had left, however there was no delivery that night.


This apartment is to be rented in a semi-furnished state and this has been delayed by over a month resulting in a real loss of over Rs 40000 here alone. Besides this I (as other here) have had to spend time calling them and traveling for no fault of mine.


Their customer care head - Sunita Singh, heard me and agreed to speak with her bosses (presumably - Sumit Shah and Venugopal and get back today evening. There again was no response. The store manager (Saeed) called and told me that he is willing to give me some photo frames if I do not raise the issue.


This company thinks that their customers are jokers and do not have a voice. We need to start and sustain a complete campaign against them until each one of us and others like us are FULLY compensated - and I don’t mean just a refund of the item that wasn’t delivered on time or some photo frames.


If there ever was a company that needs to be taught a lesson - this is it.


We will get each one of these stories in the relevant media rather than just letting it stay on the internet.


I would also encourage you to visit their stores when you are in the mall and very politely share your own horror stories with their potential future customers. This would be a social service from our end - Gandhigiri, if you may.
