Primary problem with these guys is that they are not manufacturers. They just have sample pieces in their showrooms and if you like and place order and pay money, then they put their orders to the manufacturer in Malaysia. If you are lucky then your item may arrive in time. Else the ordeal starts. You have to keep calling them to inquire when the item will arrive. They keep expected dates stretching the time lag to weeks. If it gets too long and you are tired of checking with them and ask for refund then the reply they give is the best one I have seen. To quote them "Sir, the refund process usually takes 2-3 weeks if everything is clear. instead if you wait there are better chances that you might get your product within this period. So we suggest you wait instead of asking for refund coz you are more likely to get the product faster than the money". And this is the reply after a month of waiting in my case.
Now if you are lucky and the product is available, their delivery team calls and informs that they would be delivering. If you are a working couple then you had it, coz there is no guarantee that they will deliver when they say they are coming. If you wait for the entire day and the they do not arrive and you call to bark on them you will get another date of delivery. And they can never consider to deliver on a weekend where you would be home instead of taking a leave.
The delivery part is fun coz their delivery doesnt mean your furniture. It will be a dump of a package with wood pieces and screws. Now you have to start praying about their assembly guy to turn up and your ordeal you have gone through for delivery recurs. You have to be at home, praying for their assembly guy to turn up and bless you with the ownership of their product. If you are still sane after all the above the product you get is just about functional for the price you have shelled. Now some dos and donts.
Do not lean on the product, they are just made of compressed wood scraps and are highly fragile. If your five year old starts banging his hand on the furniture, its doors then you can forget it. Do not think of shifting the house, this furniture will not survive the ordeal.
You might as well donate the furniture to the future owner of the house or building watchman or some one so that you at least retain the satisfaction of your furniture being used by some one.
