I bought furniture from Housefuls some 40 days back in Bangalore. What I liked about the furniture - Overall value of the deal wasnt bad - for 57k, I got a sofa set, a six-seater dining set, queen bed and wardrobe+mirror dressing table.Read on why the above wasnt really good. All material did not arrive on time even though payment was done upfront completely.Once the packed material arrived for assembly, there were defects in several of the panels for the wardrobe. I had to wait till they got the replacement material, then they set it up. This took a few days. Sofa set was delivered more than a week later. Then assembled.Dining table top was slightly chipped and mirror somewhat cracked also. I havent yet got the replacement 40 days after purchase of the furniture. The guys do not respond on their phone numbers like they used to and do not believe in returning calls at all. Frankly, now the above deal does not look so valuable.
I noticed later that the wardrobe width was rather small - something I didnt pay attention to much (this I really missed). Other than that, though I knew the furniture was mostly the kind with laminate paper on compressed wood, the finishing isnt the best as it comes off the edges. In some places it is wavy also, and that also they need to correct.I dont regret my decision for the purchase entirely in terms of the deal, but in terms of what I am facing now, it does not look worth it.I am still waiting for my dining table and mirror replacement. Considering all of this, I would not recommend to others. if you can, however, you could pay after you receive the furniture, if they agree to it.I have given average to parking as I am not sure if it matters in this case. Ambience and decor - within the showroom, it was good, but not sure what it brings to my house since furniture is defective. So I could not give it more than 2 here also.
