Continuation on my previous review

As promised before I wanted to update on the status of the firniture ordered in Housefull. I had ordered a Thames sofa set, a senter coffee table and a shoe rack. Like I said in my previous post it was supposed to be delived on 17th November and assembled on 18th. 16th november evening 6.00 PM - My father visits the store to check if the delivery is gonna happen tom. The shop guy courteously agrees they would. They will get it delivered by 3 tom afternoon.


16th November night 8.30 PM - We get a call from the delivery guys confirming that they will deliver tom by 1 or 2 PM in the afternoon.


17th November(the delivery date) 11.30 PM - The delivery van driver calls up and tells us that he will be in my place in 1 hour and he takes driving instructions to my place.


17th November 12.00 PM - Goods are delivered. Sofa, center table(to be assembled) and shoe rack( to be assembled). He tells before leaving that tom the carpenter will call and come to your place to assemble.


18th November 9.30 AM - I try calling the store but no one picks the call.


18th November 10.30 AM - I called the guy who delivered the goods yday he said the carpenters will come today their duty starts only at 11 so they will definitely come.


18th November 12.30 PM - I called the store as no one called yet, the store guy took my invoice number and checked in his system and gave methe carpenter name who will come but he refused to give their number saying they will only call us. 18th November 4.00 PM - The carpenter calls asking for driving instructions to come to my place.


18th November 4.30 PM - The carpenter arrives, assembles everything, no damage to any parts or pieces. They assemble and arrange everything in half hour.


5.00 PM they assemble set it and leave. No problems in delivery or assembly. This was how it was for me, I have no idea why this was not the case for others.
