On 22nd Sept, 2013, I had purchased Orbit 2D Double Decker Shoe Rack(SKU No. 100008613; HDC No. 8999/2013/1182). Housefull had promised 1 year warranty on all of their products. Within some time, the handle of the door started coming out. It’s because of poor quality of material used. On calling their call centre, they are asking that this will be chargeable.
On telling them that your company had promised for 1 year warranty, the call customer executive(it’s takes hours to reach their call centre executive- poor management) told their company never says warranty upon usage. The 1 year warranty is on packed item at the time of delivery.
On their website, on their ads and in their stores, they clearly mention that 1 year warranty starts from the day of delivery but when you approach these guys, they don’t accept this. This is a gross case of cheating the customers. These guys should refund the money. Hope this company is not a fly by night operator and should address issues of the customers.
