We recently bought a bedroom set (consisting of a double bed, side table, dressing table and a wardrobe) from House Full in Aundh. For starters, the owners seem to have been in a hurry to start their store even before they have their display, air conditioner and staff is completely in place.
When we booked our furniture, we were told to pay the entire amount in advance. We did so with some hesitation (not knowing if they would be prompt enough with their service once they got the money). And we were so right! They also took the entire advance for the octroi and delivery charges as much as a week before the actual delivery.
Gauging the overall attitude and confusion among the staff, we went and reminded them again about our delivery date and time. The furniture, which was supposed to come in the first half of the day, came only after 5pm (this was a Saturday).
Then, on Sunday, the carpenters were supposed to come in around 11 am to fix everything. We waited and waited, but no luck. Finally, my husband called the manager to ask where the carpenters had disappeared and he hung up saying he would call in 5 mins. The 5 mins never got over and when we called back..to our horror the man in question had switched off his cell!!
Finally, my husband went personally to the store to talk to guys as our Sunday was getting wasted! And it turned out that they hadn’t even informed the carpenters about coming to our place. After some pushing, they finally arranged for carpenters from the Chinchwad store to come and fix our bedroom set.
It was a rather smooth ride thereon as the poor carpenters were more professional than the store managers!
If you want to pick up stuff from here, just make sure u have enough time to follow up and wait for the furniture!!
