mr.sumith shah,
frthr my email below which you have not had the common courtesy to reply, please be advised the following-
said furniture was sent on the 7th june after advising us it would be sent on the 5th- no further calls or advice was given by your staff on the 5th when the furniture did not arrive, we decided not to call and see whether or not your staff would have the courtesy to call which, of course, did not happen- I SINCERELY BELIEVE COURTESY DOES NOT EXIST WITH YOU OR YOUR ORGANISATION OR SET UP.
On the 7th we were advised the furniture would arrive after 3 and by 6 pm which did not happen- when communication was established the girl at the worli centre informed my wife the carpenter would call or that she would advise his number after 15 minutes- regrettably the 15 minutes dragged on for an eternity and she never called, however, the carpenter called at about 1530/1545 hrs stating he was to come and assemble the furniture-we informed the carpenter that the furniture had not arrived and to time his arrival with the furniture- he stated he was in Bandra and would take about an hour to 1.5 hrs to arrive which we conveyed to the truck driver also to time themselves accordingly- we also sent the carpenters tel.no. to the driver in order they co-ordinate with each other. at about 1715 hrs the truck driver phoned in and said they were at Andheri and they would take about 1.5 hrs to reach Khar/Bandra. I then spoke to the manager, or he called himself the manager and listened to a lot of tripe dished out by him with rRajeev_Vermact to the goods, sales etc as also the timings when the truck had called me( which was wrong) and when the carpenter would be coming and so on - we were not interested in listening to this hogwash-
eventually, another call came from someone else who guaranteed the truck would arr in the next 30 minutes, which it did, considering it was supposed to be in andheri which the driver had told me!- mumbai evening hours from andheri to bandra- unbelievable- lies all the way-
the truck arrived at 1850 hrs, the carpenter having arrived by 1820-
upon opening the packages - the wardrobe package opened first- observed the damages to the cupboard door etc., promptly advised the carpenter and the truck staff to pack the same and take the packages back- when I phoned your worli showrtoom, the girl had the audacity and gall to tell me to return the damaged parts and keep the rest. my house is small and not a warehouse.
it is the 12th today and no further communication from your office/showroom which indicates the kind of interest shown towards the customer-
cheating the public has its limits-
these letters shall be forwarded to the press and on social media as will the photographs and I shall start proceedings against HOUSEFULL FURNITURE at the CONSUMER FORUM and if my money is not returned, I shall most certainly go to the police-
we are not interested in the furniture any longer, only repayment of the money,

mr.sumith shah,
having placed an order worth almost rs. 30000/- on the 26th may 2013 vide invoice no.1065 with delivery slated for the 1st of june. we left the showroom satisfied, unaware of what was in store for us-
we received a call from the showroom stating furniture would arrive on the 1st after 2 pm along with a carpenter- we waited from 2 pm onwards with no sign of the furniture till about 1715 hrs when we phoned the nos.given and were advised the truck would reach in a short while. thereafter, numerous calls to the driver of the truck and the office were of a variety of answers received from both- the truck is at almeida park, truck is at carter road, truck is off tawa restaurant, truck is on 16th rd and each time the same story- " we do not know how to reach your residence"- " could you come where we are and take us to your residence!"- most ridiculous and absurd given that I had given the driver directions each time I called. your office was of no help at all stating each time they would call back which, of course, they did not resulting in me calling them repeatedly. this entire episode went on till 1900 hrs and at 1915 hrs the truck arrived and stated simply, the assembly would take place after 48 hrs. - this, had not been advised to us at the time of purchase, only written in on the invoice.
does the client have to wait endlessly for the goods to arrive- moreover, we had been told there would be a carpenter who would come with the truck, this did not happen-
we called your staff and told them we were sending the truck back and not accepting the goods then due to the time and did not accept their calls either after that. on the 2nd june I went to the showroom at worli and spoke to the salesman, the girl attending the phone and the manager- all I heard was a load of lies spoken by the salRajeev_Vermarson as well as the girl- the manager assured me the goods would be sent and assembled the very next day, 3rd june between 1500 and 1900- however, on my way back after leaving the showroom, I received a call from the showroom stating the goods would be delivered on the 4th june instead between the same times- 1500 to 1900.
4th june- we received a call from the showroom at worli stating the truck would be at our residence between 1500 and 1900 with the carpenter- regrettably, neither the truck nor the carpenter arrived at the designated times. the truck driver called at 1915 stating he was very far off at andheri and would take time to reach- he was told not to bother as we were fed could not wait any longer- were we to wait till an unearthly hour given the traffic scene in the evenings in the suburbs?
the driver then informed us they would come today the 5th june- the carpenter called today stating he had to assemble the furniture and was told to speak to your manager regarding the same- there has been no call from your office the whole day, no advice whether the goods will be delivered today or not-
Nor are they answering our calls.
