I ordered for a simple TV cabinet, its been more than a month and they neither shipping the order nor refunding the money. It a biggest fraud run by totally unprofessional people. Customer care is a sham.


I get separate call from separate people giving me totally different feedback about the status of my order. I am sure that they rely on the fact that people in India don’t approach courts for deficiency of service.


Update(28 Jul 2015)


The order was placed for a TV cabinet on 11 Jun 2015. Money was paid by credit card and the payment was processed immediately. The order was shown as processing for quite a few days. I left town for a few days so did not follow up on it. After about 10 days, I received a call from the sales dept that they did not have the colour that I had ordered. It was funny since the webpage showed it in stock, even on the date that received the call. I was given an option to change the colour to which I informed to caller to give me a day to think.


I did not get any more calls for a few days and then suddenly was called again and was asked to opt for another colour again. I reluctantly agreed to that. The order was still not shipped.


Then after waiting for more than a month, I called to check and they had no idea about my order so I cancelled the order to which I was told that the refund will take 10 days. The funny part is, immediately thereafter, someone from sales dept called me and literally begged me not cancel, that they had received the stock and will ship immediately. I agreed reluctantly.


Three days later the item had still not shipped and again, the customer care dept and the sales dept did not know what the other was doing.


I again cancelled the order.


Now after posting the review, instead of even rendering an apology, I have received replies from some customer care executive that says "As per our system refund is already processed. The amount will reflect on your credit card which you used to make the payment"


Such companies thrive only because we let them and they know that no one will bother to fight them for a compensation.


I have not yet received the refund, but thats not important. I have not been able to get the same product from another website or shop because of false commitments by Housefull.


Please try other websites like, Pepperfry, Fabfurnish, Urban Ladder, etc. Their service is way way better.


Second update(29 Jul 2015)


I was totally surprised to find an email in my inbox, they have shipped the cabinet after confirming cancellation. This is plain cheating. I have already purchased another cabinet after they confirmed that the order is cancelled.


I know that it won’t be worthwhile pursuing this any further, lesson learnt the hard way. I hope other customers don’t get cheated.


Please don’t buy from them, and tell others too.
