Quit Smoking ! It is not good for health

Smoking  is a very bad habit . I hate to see people smoking . The people who smoke cause damage not only to their body, but to the whole atmosphere we live in. Because, the place gets polluted with cigarette smoke .


I have some friends here in Canada, who initially were chain smokers . With great persuation, they tried to quit smoking and were successful in doing so. They told me about Nicorette gums, which they chewed whenever they got a craving to have a cigarette . It seems, the gum has a terrible taste, but what you need is the will power to stick to your plans of quitting smoking! So, it will be good to chew these gums which come in a pack of 24 . You are not supposed to exceed taking more than one gum per hour .


People who smoke may cite many reasons for their smoking such as to release tension at work or some problem in their family etc etc. Whatever it is, they are fully aware of the fact that it is a most devastating habit which they need to get out of. What they really need is a strong will power to get over this addiction.


At this point, think about your two important parts of your body. The lungs and the heart. Both of them play a great role in proper functioning of your body . Your smoking habit is going to affect their proper functioning.


Actually, continued smoking(chain smoking) leads to lung cancer.’Prevention is better than cure.’Instead of taking treatment for the lung cancer when you get it, why not prevent it from attacking you at all?


Also, quitting smoking is one of the best ways to reduce heart attack risk. When you inhale tobacco smoke, 5-15% of blood is infused with carbon monoxide. This can cause shortness of breath, skipped heart beats and blood vessels to constrict, reducing blood flow to the heart and head according to doctors.


Recent survey has shown that people who continued to smoke after a heart attack, had a 22-47% risk of having another one.


Conversely, people who have quit smoking are less likely to have another attack. Quitting smoking will add years to your life and prevent further heart surgery by keeping bypass grafts from blocking.


Remember this! With every cigarette you smoke, you loose five minutes of your life time! Life is too short and more precious! So, quit smoking for a long and healthy life! Keep Nicorette gums always with you, to chew whenever you crave for a cigarette .
