I am using this laptop for more than 5 months. I bought this laptop from abroad(UAE) for 40, 000 INR.
It comes with 8GB of RAM, 1TB Mechanical HDD, and Intel 7th gen i5 processor. It comes with Windows 10 Home edition pre-installed. It also has a full HD display and 2GB AMD RM430 graphics.
About the build quality, it’s good. The outer side is a little bit boring with the line pattern and the silver color. When comes to the display, the chins around the display is huge and is not appealing very much. The keyboard is good and the touchpad works fine.
About the performance, it’s not up to the mark. I have been using a Dell laptop with an i5+ 8gb ram combination and it works better than this one. I am a mechanical engineer student and I use designing softwares such as CATIA, Ansys, Creo etc. This laptop even with this configuration fails to run the software frequently. It force-closes and freezes. Another culprit is the Pre-installed windows 10. It’s buggy and really bad to work with. It’s user-friendly but not reliable.
Sometimes it boots up faster and sometimes it won’t even boot up. Then you have to force shut down and restart. It’s getting frequent updates from Microsoft and I hope it gets stable with future updates.
About gaming, the laptop heats up pretty quickly and lags. Normally the fan is loud and it gets louder as the processor gets warm. Sometimes, the fan automatically increases the running speed due to unwanted processes running in the background and you have to find it using the task manager and kill it manually.
I am not at all satisfied with the product. Even my older laptops worked fine with windows 10. But this one gives a headache sometimes with bad performance.
