Can be called feature rich for the price on offer. This machine can print , scan , copy and fax it also has a inbuilt phone reviever. Very useful for small office or home office use. The major disadvantage is the absence of a flat bed scanner, i.e. there is only a automatic document feeder and no flat bed scanner. This can be an disadvantage when you have to scan important documents or pictures. the adf may damage the original in cas of a paper jam ( this can happen with all automatic document feeder not only with this product.)
If you are planning to use this for photo printing you are better of looking at the photosmart range from hp as these machines are meant for office work , though they can print photoes they are not very effecient with it.
Hp support is pretty good and this machine is very reliable. the included software is good but nothing great , users with old computers may face issues getting the scanner working as it needs a updated and well powered usb port.
