coming to specification it has a print capacity of 16 A-4 pages per minute and can print first page out in under 9 seconds.IT has maximum vertical and horizontal resolution( DPI) is 600 which is quit good.
The printer holds a standard input capacity of 150 sheets and comes with 8 MB memory. Additionally it comes with 10-sheet multipurpose tray and a USB Port.It has black print speed is 16.yes it support USB port but not a parallel port which is bad.it has 8 MB memory but there is no option of memory upgrade.
During operating condition it consume 315 watt per hour but in standby condition it consume 3 watt per hour.

In my office we had HP laserjet p1008 but due to average buyild quality and poor speed we replaced with HP LaserJet P1505 which also provide duty cycle of 8, 000 pages per month instead 6, 000 per month in HP LaserJet P1008.
my verdict is that you should miss HP LaserJet P1008 and better spend more 1, 000 rupees so you can get HP LaserJet P1505 which has more duty cycle and premium build.
