I purchased this product about a year ago. For about 10 months, I had absolutely no problems with it. I printed, faxed and scanned regularly. I was a big fan of this equipment. Until it broke about a couple months ago. That’s when my nightmare with the service started. All of a sudden, the whole thing would not turn on. I figured there was some fuse gone or something.
I called up several places which are HP authorized ones in the city. I decided to get it repaired at a "SOGO" Computer repairs place on Hayes place near Richmond Road. They charged me Rs. 3, 500 saying the master board is damaged. After this it ran for a month and same problem again. It is not working and not turning on again. I am again back to calling the HP service center for the repair. I am at a point not knowing if I want to get this repaired or junk this and buy a new one.
