About 3 months back, I purchased a HP Pavilion x360 - 13-s102tu from their authorized showroom in my locality.
I was quite happy with the purchase until I found a black spot on the screen. I tried to clean it but found that the black dot is from inside and took it to a HPs authorized service center for cleaning it.
After analyzing the spot they said that it is a fungal growth and they cannot open the glass as it is molded, they will send a detailed report to the HP officials regarding this.
Yesterday I got the reply that HP warranty does not cover this issue and they cannot do anything in this regard.
The support staff is helpless in this regard, my simple question is why should I be the sufferer for the problem which has caused naturally or by HPs design fault. Or Do HP think that I running some sort of Fungus culture in my house.
HP cannot run away from their design failures by saying that it is not covered under warranty.
I got 2 years of warranty with the laptop, what is the use with it, if they cannot rectify this simple issue.
In my 20+ years of computer usage, I never ran into such a peculiar situation.
HP should be ashamed in releasing such a faulty laptop.
