I bought this product 2 yrs ago. Previously I used larger, heavier machine 15.4 inch screen. This HP one is very sleek. It has very good battery life till date. Processor is doing well. Easy to carry, light weight. AMD works wonders.
Problem areas are:
1) Touchpad stopped working after 2 yrs of average use
2) Keyboard letters have faded very early
3) No port for CD/DVD. I have to use external device whenever needed
4) USB ports are very closely placed. Sometimes not possibe to attach 2 usb devices adjacent 2 each other
5) In keyboard, there are no buttons for END, START, PAGE UP & PAGE DOWN.
6) Charging gave problem within 3 months, there was some fault. HP support did well to manage it.
They replaced some major part free of cost. it took 7 days to do so but they gave me standby laptop for that period, needless to say ’after strong worded complaint’.
