I purchased HP laptop in Aug 2006 and I become a very regular customer of their service center. every time they will keep your laptop for 1 month and after use of next1 month again u will get another problem or the same problem. service is pathetic!!! for every problem they will tell you "your laptop motherboard has gone!!!".
There are list of problems which you will find regularly in these laptops:
battery problems
touch-pad problems
mother-board problem
screen-led problem
and service center problem-They dont respond properly.
**This is my suggestion to my friend who wants to buy a new laptop or PC " NEVER BUY HP ONES"**
