I’m using one and 7 of my colleagues also bought this Pavalion dv2000 series (dv2500) on last Thanks Giving -Nov 07. I should say this was the best deal at the season and it is pretty worth. I had let my lapt to all those worst condition of use and never got a problem till day. Yes of course .. I also do run those regular system clean up stuff and all.
None of my friends also mentioned any complaints. I would say, this is the best you can get in the market for the price you pay..

Con:
First thing which I dislikes on this model is the touch pad too sensitive or do not respond..., I tried all those settings to make it understand to my ’touch’ still it’s weired sometimes... Next thing, yes the laptop gets a little hot but I think compressing those 2.2ghz c2d with nvidia it is quite "ok" to be that much hot...
Also though that glossy finish looks cool, it stays cool when un-touched... It leaves those finger print and marks... I dont like to do that wipe clean on laptop very often...
