Hello, I bought my HP Pavilion DV6000 special edition laptop on my trip to USA in August 2008. Below is the configuration of the laptop - Processor - Intel Core 2 Duo - T5750Memory - 3GB OS - 32 bit, vista home premiumDisplay - NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS Hard disk - 250 gigBattery - 6 cellFingerprint scanner, bluetooth, webcam etcI bought it for ~$800 when $ to Rs conversion rate was 40.
Since last one year, I’m quite happy with the system. Overall performance is good - it’s pretty fast while copying data from external storage. I have not done any other memory intensive programming or gaming yet.Only issue I had was with its charging. There was problem with power adapter. I called HP support and they promptly shipped another adapter free of cost since laptop was in warranty.Other than that, I have never faced any problem and I’m quite happy with my laptop :)
