I brought a hp G42 456TU laptop years ago.I Haven’t use much as busy in my classes, After few months its Hard disk start giving lot of problems to me.I have use various software to remove bad sectors as I thought it will work because of less use but it wont.I contacted hp care and they say hard disk has to change.
I search in various forums and found that the model has the problem of its hard disk, hundreds of people have same complain regarding hard disk.I then change the hard disk, so with my thinking be aware while buying hp laptops, please see the suggestions and reviews in forums.
