HP Pavilion G6 1017TU - Outdated %26 Slow

I made the mistake of purchasing the HP Pavilion G6 1017TU, expecting a decent laptop for daily use. However, after using it for a while, I can confidently say this laptop is outdated, painfully slow, and not worth the money.

Even for basic tasks like browsing, MS Office, and streaming, this laptop lags frequently. The Intel Core i3 ( 2nd Gen) processor and 4GB RAM are too weak for modern applications. Multitasking is a nightmare—even opening multiple Chrome tabs causes freezes and crashes.

The laptop heats up quickly, even with simple tasks. The cooling system is poor, and the fan gets extremely loud, making it annoying to use for long hours. Forget about gaming or heavy software—the laptop will overheat and slow down even more.

The battery backup is very poor—it barely lasts 1.5 to 2 hours with normal use. If you’re watching videos or doing some work, expect the battery to drain even faster. You’ll be stuck to the charger all the time.

The 1366x768 resolution display is not sharp, and the colors look washed out. Watching movies or editing photos is a bad experience. The plastic build feels cheap, and the hinges become loose over time, making it feel fragile and unreliable.

The audio output is weak and lacks clarity. Even at full volume, the sound feels flat and muffled. You must use headphones to get decent sound quality.

The HP Pavilion G6 1017TU is a slow, outdated, and frustrating laptop that fails in every aspect—performance, battery life, and durability. Even for basic work, it’s painfully slow, making it a bad investment. If you’re looking for a budget laptop, there are far better options available from Lenovo, Dell, or ASUS.

Rating: 1.5/5 – Outdated and frustrating, not worth buying!
