The hp pavilion g6 2221 TU laptop has been a good product from hp. The features include a 15.6 inch led backlit display, intel core i5 processor, windows 10, 4 gb RAM with 500 gb hard disk space. After around 3 years of using this product, i would make the following comments:
PROS:
Very silent machine, unless forced to perform heavy multiple tasks simultaneously.
The screen size is pretty good with bright display. The richness of colors id also awsome.
Sound bar of this laptop is pretty loud and clear as it has Dolby Digital Advanced Audio technology.
The 3 usb ports and one HDMI port gives very good connectivity options.
Power backup of battery was upto 4 hours when i brought it, although the battery is dead now.
Touch pad is very smooth and very sensitive. The numeral pad on the right side is an added advantage for quick calculations.
Processor is very fast and handles all my daily usage requirements without heating up or slowing down.
CONS:
The DVD drive makes some irritating noise for a second when the system starts. This happens sometimes when i try to play video files from hard disk. I don’t know the cause of this sound but it irritates. Moreover it has been there since i brought the product.
Please do not hold the laptop with one hand from the point where the screen is attached to the main body. My screen attachment got broken and it has loosened from that place due to such handling. Its a very bad design flaw. hp should design and market products which have passed strict durability and sturdiness tests. Only lifting a laptop with one hand should not crack it.
