I’ve bought my HP Pavillion DV5-1104TU notebook 3 years back. It worked almost fine 2 years and it began troubling me from last 1 year as the screen flickers and stops and flickers again.
I am facing this problem very frequently when watching a movie or some high contrast image comes on the screen. When I searched over the net, it showed there is just a faulty graphics cable issue and can be fixed by replacing the faulty cable.
And this is not a case of just a faulty model, so I suggest people to go through pros & cons and durability carefully before buying an HP notebook.
