I’ve been an avid fan of using my 1003AU notebook. Till 2 years, the notebook didnt give a single problem .But once da problem propped in .The list continues one after another and very high SERVICE cost and Time makes it a unviable bet.
I just replaced the motherboard on Nov 1, 2009 by paying 19500 and Believe it or not .On Dec 9, 2009 it hs crashed again .And did u knw .it just comes with 1 month warranty! datz screwed me up big time .
It took more than 2 and half months to get the motherboard replaced .Datz wot makes HP one of the worst service providers .Guys .HP laptops generally don’t give problems .bt once these problems come in play .they come in bulk-deal kinda of thing and poor and illskilled HP service guys screw ur laptop bigtime .
