Its superb laptop if you understand your requirement and go through capabilities of this laptop before buying.
Good points:
I always wanted to buy a sleek laptop and almost zero’ed in on Macbook Air which
blows everything else away but ended up with this as it has windows 8.1 which I can use to run almost every application. I also use Linux with USB boot when needed and didnt find any issues with it either.
. Got this for USD 199 dollars so its a steal in INR 12000.
. Able to play all types of videos, music etc. I dont play games on laptop so haven’t tried that yet. Good sound. Connected to my HDTV via HDMI port/cable and worked just fine.
. Really lightweight, compact. Good display. Contrary to many reviews, I didn’t find keyboard & trackpad finicky and cheap at all. It does the work.
. I use this to connect to office n/w as BYOD is supported. So my entire office work is getting done on this laptop now. Easy to travel with as well.
Negative aspects
. Colour and aesthetics. Doesnt come in black. Though I love the Horizon Blue colour, some may not like it.
. CPU can be sluggish and browser can be nonresponsive some times. Remove all the bloatware and do not run many applications together.
