I joined HQMT in June 2nd of 2013 after one of my friend who is working as home-based QA for last 7 years for TransDyne referred me to HQMT and I always wanted to become doctor and had interest in medical field but In my town Chittor I didn’t have any MT center, so online was the only option for me. After I contacted Pallavi, she said if you pay in one payment, you can get foot pedal free, so I made online payment and got access in 2 days but could not understand how to join cisco webex classes, so it was very difficult for first week but after attending introduction class, I got confidence that I can learn online.
After a lot of practice and study(after 5 months), I had uploaded my resume in job portals but most of them want 1+ year experience and my friend who is working in BluePearl referred me and I could clear test in first attempt but HR asked me sit with experienced editors so they could assess my quality for 2 days. After my accuracy feedbacks, I got one week client training in Bangalore and then they gave me online IDs for US clients to work on speech recognition platform.
Now, I am working as home based editor for BluePearl since December 2013 and able reach 60 to 70 mins of audio and could earn first month Rs 10200.

CONS:
1) Sometime chat is off, support person does not respond immediately. They need to add more staff to give better service.
2) No advanced listing of class timings, I had to wait for updates.
3) Correction reports are not sent immediately-I had to remind 2-3 times.
4) Recorded Videos are in HD format, you need heavy broad band speed or videos buffer.
PROS:
1) Crystal clear audio-video classes via cisco webex classes-I could attend class with single click, next steps are automated. It is easy to attend online classes without tech skills.
2) Very comprehensive and thorough curriculum which is must to get direct home MT Jobs.
3) As trainers have long experience in MT industry, I could learn all the subjects including OJT, live project training, Escription, LOM, English, etc.
4) They gave me around 600 files of different types which helped to get very good exposure to different hospital accounts.
5) I got instant access to website mttraininghqmt.com where I could study via offline videos if I missed live class as repeating classes is very helpful.
6) correction report feedbacks and live QA learnings are very helpful to improve accuracy as MT is only for accurate MTs.
7) I attended totally 9 video conference via oovoo conf where I could interact with trainers-this is very good feature for at home learning, so I could clear my doubts face to face.
8) They gave me list of around 40 companies for jobs, but I got job myself. Also I am getting calls for jobs.
FINAL SAY:
If you have patience to learn and practice, willing to invest time and money, and really want to work from home, I strongly suggest HQMT as home-based online MT institute or any other place.
