I graduated in 2001 from HR college of commerce and economics. the 5 years that I spent in HR has been the most enjoyable experience for me as of now. I did a diploma in travel & tourism with my BCom. the professors we have are probably the best and most understanding as compared to any other college in bombay. I decided to go to HR for the prime reason that all my cousins and a few uncles passed out of this college. There are professors her that have taught them and now are teaching me. They would nt stay around for so long if they felt HR to be a bad college.
Our current principal Mrs. Shahani has not only improved the fascilities in the college but has given place to the hawkers place in the college canteen.(as they were asked to vacate the footpath). the college took us on a 12 night trip to north india where we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
I am still in touch with a few professors who were always there to help you whenever you asked for it. A couple of them even gave us their email ids and residence numbers to contact them if necessary.
I owe a lot to this college, that made me what I am.
