We are a multinational company based out of Toronto, Canada. We have an office in Pune and we were moving our bank accounts from Hyd to Pune.
We met Arpit Shah from the Pune office and we were told he could open our account in 10 business days. We started the process based on the reach and services provided. He came over not prepared for the meeting but we gave him all the documents when I was in Pune. After we left, he had promised he would have a courier to get the signatures from my other business partner in Canada.
The courier came only after I got back to Toronto. After we sent all the signed documents back to Pune we were told by Arpit would have to send more documents for signature and do more process which he could have achieved when I was in front of him. We are under a tight deadline and needed to get the account opened so we could process our employee payrolls. We did talk to Akshay Ghuge who is Arpits boss who did nothing and didnt even respond to their lack of process and their shortcomings.
I would not suggest any businesses to open an account with HSBC Pune, as they lack professionalism and would not agree to their missteps and blame it on the process.
