The worlds local bank has no local number! Strange but true HSBC claims itself to be the worlds local bank. But anytime you need to get a simple request done you have to gather all your paper work and run to your city’s main office.
I asked for a number but was given the number to their call center in some place remote and the really irate part was that you are taken in circles by the IVR for say 30 minutes without exaggerating and then you reach a representative with the same excuse that all corporates are used to giving “I do not have authority to execute this request” – OK, if you cannot please connect me to someone who can – back to the IVR and blimp, phone disconnected.
Hello.. anyone home? So you ask your self whats so local about this bank? I would say that you can speak to a multi-lingual staff if you are not comfortable with English, thats about it. Poor fellas!
