I have a salary account with this bank for last 5 yrs, and in these 5 yrs I have received the worst service possible.
The most illogical thing is they have elaborate process for securing your online log in, but you cannot change your correspondence even after log in. The most important thing in my account is my money, that I can transfer to any account online, but I cant change my address!!! How more illogical can you get!!! yes they can keep on reading!!!
My office shifted to new place 3 yrs ago, but I couldnt change my address cause I have to write a letter & attach a address proof & submit at a branch. I simply didnt have the time. I have another account in Citibank for last 10 yrs & I have changed its address without a sweat & securely 3 or 4 times.
When I last checked my address was flagged non-responding so I thought ok at least theyll not send any mail, Ill update if I require something urgently. But to my surprise this week, I got an sms that they have dispatched a new "more secure" card & pin to my old address without even informing me!!!!!!!!!!!
SENDING A MOST SECURE CARD & KEY BOTH TO AN ADDRESS THAT THEY KNOW IS NOT VALID !!!!!!!! IS THAT CARD NOW EVEN SECURE!!!
I called up the customer care immediately & the representative coldly said ur address is flagged, Then I asked how can u send card to a blocked address?? She then started to check on courier site !!! & said theyll return the card to bank!! Can you believe this ?? The bank is spending money to send couriers to a blocked address that any how is going to be returned back, that too when the customer has not even asked for a new card, and on top of that they didnt even ask before sending!!!!
This is just making customers vulnerable!!!!
This is just one incident which I am narrating because now I am fed up. There are numerous many. And reading feed backs from other people I can say I am not alone!!!
People LETS HAVE A DRIVE TO BAN THIS BANK IN INDIA!!!!!!
