I have an NRE account with HSBC for the last 11 years.I really enjoyed the good service which they provided in calcutta.The first problem was encountered by me when I decided to sell my flat which was purchased with a Home Loan. They tried desperately for nearly an year to block the sale.
Again I had a portfolio management service which either performed badly, or the relationship manager did not care to communicate with me when I was overseas, even when when my family members tried to get in touch always the staff was either in a meeting or the line was busy. Calls were never returned.Emails were not answered no mails were sent to me given details of my portfolio for 5 months.
