My name is Amit M. Sheth. I am from India, Mumbai. I hold a credit card of H.S.B.C. Bank.On 12th of March, I had made the payment of Rs. XYZ/- at the H.S.B.C. Bank, Mumbai branch.When I received a statement of H.S.B.C. from Feb - Mar, I figured out that I was wrongly charged a payment of Rs. 600/- against the late payment charges.
I feel that they shouldn’t have charged me with late fees if their payment have already been made on time as I had already deposited in "CASH" for the credit card payment on 12th March, 2007 itself.So, the question of late payment should not come into picture at all.
If I would have not checked this late payment entry in the statement, then I would have never come to know about this late fees deductions done by H.S.B.C. bank.Anywayz, I am looking forward to an improvement on this from HSBC and a better service.Regards, Amit Sheth.
