At one time, I felt proud in owning a Salary account in HSBC. Now I feel, I have made the worst decision. I had encountered several issues with the Bank and below are the some.
First incident is that they have increased the minimum balance limit without prior intimation. I was unaware of it and the relevant changes are debited to my account and were not reversed even after talking to the customer care.
Second incident. They had levied debit card charges of previous years in the current year. It seems they dont have a proper procedure in place and they debit the charges without informing the customer.
Another incident is that, I am unable to open a Fixed Deposit online as they require few documents. They dont even accept a scanned copy by email. The document had to be submitted at the Branch. I have submitted the document at the Branch three weeks back and still there is no solution to my issue.
