If you have some risk appetite and would like to try out something different, then I dont think youll be disappointed with HTC P3300.
Since I came to Delhi, I was looking for a GPS solution since I am new to the city. So far, honestly, the GPS isnt of much use yet. Reason is not the device or the software, but the updated maps. Mapking does not have updated maps, and thus this device is not able to exploit the full potential it has.
GPS itself works well, the accuracy is great, if only we could get most recent maps of Delhi:-(.
Otherwise, this is a great phone, the signal quality, sound etc is good, the touchscreen works well. I have had this for over a week now, without any problems, but one week is too short a time to discover much.
I did notice that it complained about memory shortage. I had to shut down some programs to start the GPS. It could either be due to Mapking needs, or less Ram on this product. This could be a drawback.
I havent had a chance to explore a lot on the device yet, but over all, it works great. I used its GPS, I also used it to surf the net using my home wifi network. Its a nice little tool for internet surfing, if you are lazy and dont want to boot up your computer.
It also has an FM Radio, unlike most business phones.
Overall, its a good device, and I would recommend it to a tech savvy user.
Enjoy!
