The smartphone packs a 5-inch HD display and runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system. It is powered by a quad-core processor and flaunts a 13MP rear camera. Is this affordable smartphone worth your money? Read our review and find out.

Design and Display

Like its earlier handsets the HTC Desire 626 scores high in this department. The smartphone flaunts a unibody design surrounded by a rubberised plastic ribbon on all the sides, which makes it comfortable to hold. The power button and volume rockers are placed on the right side of the device, while the left side houses the SIM and microSD card slots covered by a flap. The charging port and the audio jack are located at the bottom and top of the panel respectively.

The display of the device consists of a wide angle lens 5MP front camera and two front speakers for better audio experience. On the other hand, the rear panel houses a 13MP rear camera accompanied with LED flash for low light photography. The HTC branding can be seen on both front and back panels of the HTC Desire 626.

Along with the design, the company has also worked on the quality of the display. The handset features a 5-inch HD display with 1280x720 pixels resolution. The display is pretty good and offers decent levels of brightness, with perfect viewing angles. Moreover, it also provides good visibility under the sun.
