Well, HTC which had thrilled with some of the best phones( like HTC One) has produced one of the most undesirable phones, named HTC Desire 820s( Thats called an Irony)., having used this phone for a few days the below is my review, without getting into technical aspects:
Whats good:
The only good thing about this device is the aesthetics of the phone, its sleek, light weight, feels nice to hold and good color ratio.
Whats Fine:
Nothing sensational here, average display but livable.
Smoother than a lot of phones, responsive and quick.
Whats Bad:
Well almost everything else with the phone is plain BAD.
The Specs says 13 MP- Rear and 8 MP Front, neither of it makes sense after you click a picture, the quality of the pics are blurred, the app takes a lot of time to capture, feels like an outdated camera app with low resolution and pixels, complete let down.
Less said the better about the battery, last less than 10 hours even with average use, if it was to be called a smartphone some sense should have been applied to at least power it with a good battery, and the most frustrating part it takes an extremely long amount of time to charge!
Terrible( Enough Said)
Most apps doesnt work the way it needs to work( even basic apps like GMAIL or Hangouts, tend to get into a hibernation mode, needs constant refresh, which is not really sensible, may be a software issue as well)
The headphone looks like a cheap second grade market product, even a 10 minute usage of the phone will numb your ears, the sound quality without the headphone is too low unless you are in a secluded place!
Other:
Heat issues
Overall:
I am not sure what the developers of this phone were on, when they designed this product, its a Disaster and complete rip-off of money, Why HTC, Why?
