I bought this from sulekha.com for Rs 8099/-
This is a good first android phone if you are on a budget. Also good for teen crowd. It is pretty responsive and build quality is decent
Listing out pros and cons
pros
Dont underestimate the 650MHz processor. It also has adreno 200 GPU. Overall response is good. Dont compare to high end android phones or iphone. you will be disappointed.
Supports 3G upto 14.4 Mbps
Supports tethering. wifi/usb/bluetooth
has accelerometer, GPS, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor
Call quality is good
htc sense ui. till now I have found no reason to hate it.
Good build quality
512MB RAM
and other minor bells and whistles included.
Cons:
Battery life is bad like all android phones. 3G turned on drains battery faster. with wifi tetheirng on, battery dies out in a couple of hours. With power saving enabled, no 3G/wifi/bluetooth, and display dimmed out expect a 1.5-2 days life
Only 150MB internal memory! This is biggest drawback
Lots of unnecessary apps are pre-installed. Yet to figure out how to remove them. Some downloaded apps can be moved to sd card
Response slows down if you have lots of apps installed.
Facebook for HTC sense keeps crashing randomly. I dont like this app.
GPS is not very accurate. When outdoors I found accuracy is not on par with galaxy SII or iphone but then I dont expect it for 8k!
Camera is 3MP with no auto focus or flash. Live with it!
