First thing, after just 1 day of purchasing this phone I noticed that there is a dead pixel/spot bang in the middle of the screen. It s an eyesore so I contacted HTC support, they said that dead pixels/spots are not covered in warranty.
Thus I am stuck with an eyesore. In US they would have replaced the phone, but no not in India which means they have dual standards, even though the phones are more expensive in India.
Second thing I accidentally dropped the phone from about 2 feet on a carpeted floor and the glass developed a crack. I reckon they dont do enough durability tests and the glass is weak. I sent it for repair which costs around Rs. 1500. Come on this is ridiculous. I have dropped my Nokia phone several times it never breaks. They shouldnt sell such fragile phones.
The software on the phone Windows Phone 7 is amazing but I guess HTC is not. So guys beware of these two things which I have told above before you go and buy an HTC phone. From now on I will stick to Nokia phones even if their software is a generation behind at least their battery lasts many days more than a day and I dont need to carry the charger wherever I go.
