I had given my HTC Desire phone to the service centre at Dadar, Mumbai for the following problems: the camera wasnt working, the headphones were not getting recognised and battery issues. I paid 2, 500 for the repair charges because my phone was out of warranty. I got my phone back after 10 days. the camera was fine, but the service centre screwed up my screen sensor. I have NEVER had a problem with my sensor. I gave my phone back; got it back after 6 days - the camera and sensor were fine, they had now screwed up the phones sound. I couldnt hear anybody on the other end of the phone, while they could hear me fine. I have NEVER had this problem with my phone before. I gave my phone back AGAIN, got it just 3 days ago.
Everything looked fine. However, after two days, when I started y camera again, it wasnt working.
So after a whole month of not using my own phone because the service centre kept screwing one new thing up every time they tried to fix something, the initial problem I gave my phone for - the camera not working hasnt been solved. After patiently explaining to the service centre how frustrating they have been, they refuse to give me my refund back. They expect me to leave my phone with them again for 10 days and they say they will look into the matter.
how am I to trust this service centre that has ALREADY screwed my phone up so so so bad? my phone right now is not even in a working condition, and all I ask for is a refund back because forget giving me the service I had paid for, they have ruined my phone even more. All I really want is my money back so I can move on with my life. While HTC has some killer products, its service just ruins everything good about the company. Is there anybody who can help me get my refund back?
I have spoken to the customer care people after holding for 20 minutes, but they too, are inefficient and havent gotten back to me with a logical solution to my problem. What am I to do now?
