1.I got back the handset. When deposited the handset only screen was damaged (Not display, display was normally functional) and CDMA SIM card slot not functioning. Everything else was normal.
2.Since deposited the handset there was no update for 18 days from HTC service centre, though called them for. 3.On 18th day I called HTC customer support, I came to know that they have wrong E mail Id where they are communicating me, but not bothered to call me.
4.HTC team told me that handset sent back to me after repairing, latter they told me handset was sent back without repairing.
5.HTC gave me quotation of repairing 10781/- which is 75% of new handset price.
6.Service centre called me same day and told me quotation of repairing 11700/-, isnt every stage is terribly surprising.
7.I disagreed with the quotation so told them give my handset back.
8.There was more surprise waiting for me, my handsets display was not working, I asked service centre, per them it is usual problem while repairing that more damages happen. Does it mean that HTC don’t have skilled Tech in HTC service centre, and it must be, they even dont know how to handle handset.
Instead of repairing and fix the problem HTC damaged my handset, where the display was working properly when deposited, and service centre not ready to restore the previous condition of my handset.
9.They charged 450/- for handling, what the hell is, HTC damaged and HTC asking for handling charges.
10.I showed the handset to local Tech in city, he fixed all problems in just 1750/-, where HTC quoted 10781/- and HTC service center 11700/-. Local Tech even shown me that the display connector was not connected, that’s why display was not working, its really awful….HTC, HTC doing such kind of business.
