This is the first time I bought an HTC Phone. Very good functionality and terrific internet speeds (partly helped by Reliance connections). The game bubble breaker is very addictive.
Setting up email accounts was a breeze. All major websites settings (gmail, yahoo, hotmail) are automatic. The messaging is very intuitive. The QWERTY keyboard is a great help to type messages and to browse the internet. In the cons, I was shocked to see group sms missing. You cannot make distribution lists like in Nokia.
That is really stupid. If one is paying as much as Rs.18, 250 it is a basic feature that is missing! The navigation in Nokia models is far easier than HTC. The time outs in applications is more irritating than helpful. The camera is okay. not too bad , not great either. It takes hours to understand all the functionalities perfectly. I am having a few software hanging problems.
The software cannot sometimes keep up pace with my using of the phone. Maybe thats a problem with Windows Mobile. Bought it at Rs.18250/- from Alfa, MumbaiWell, this upto october, my phones front panel got spoilt, and the camera application would start without having started it again and again.
Called up service centre they gave me lamington road address , went there, stood in the queue for 2 hours and then when my turn came they told me they dont do service for CDMA phones!!!! wtf!! they told me to go to Vikhroli which is in another part of the city!!Very poor service and almost anyone who had bought a HTC during august-september their phones got spoilt. they are not reliable at all. I will not recommend htc to anyone.service is a big big issue.
