Guys don’t buy this phone unless HTC comes with a fix for it’s memory problem. Till now I have flashed my phone’s ROM 5 times in last 3 months from the HTC Service Centre, it’s free till your phone is in warranty after that it cost’s INR 250 every time. Service Centre people are very good and know this problem however the technical support (call centre) team never understands the ROM problem and refuse to accept it.
As per the very fresh review by vivacious3380 I have called them and asked for refund first, when they refused I have asked for replacement for Touch2, they asked for difference amount (don’t know how vivacious3380 got it) they gave me only option of same handset model replacement. Waiting for it now. One thing to mention, when I said no point in getting the same handset as all are faulty, they said it’s not as they have not received any complaints (neither vivacious3380’s complaint) so request all HTC Smart users here to call HTC Care, register your complaint and use the internet forums to spread the problem of HTC’s ROM so that they will take it seriously to fix it. Please note: HTC have released one upgrade in July but it doesn’t fix this problem.
So final verdict, don’t buy unless problem is fixed. If already own it, call HTC CARE immediately!!!
