I was using HTC Touch for about 2 years and was quite happy. I wanted to go in for a new phone with better battery, features and good touch. I actually was interested in android phone but the vendor Crescent Mobile shop on TTK Road, recommended that I go in for Touch 2.the looks were surely good and I needed a sleek and business look phone and no other phone came near this in styling. I particularly asked the vendor on the battery life and features and the guy assured me that battery life was great over touch and it came with windows OS 6.5, with marketplace which was a great hit!
I trusted the guys words and today I have been suffering to say the least with this phone since the day I bought. Some of the pains that I have been facing:
a) The battery does even last a day with normal calling(I dont use any other power hungry features)
b) The phone hangs frequenty(atleast once a week) and the only way is to reset it. It even hangs when a call comes in
c) The vendor duped me saying the phone as 3G whereas it actually does not have.
d) The windows marketplace is absolutely drab and no where near google’s mobile apps, incidentally as always microsoft does not give you good apps free,
e) the speakerphone is very feeble and if you use it once, you lose one point in your battery meter
f) Google maps instals but speed is pathetic(even for a 2G)
My advice is DONT go for this phone and AVOID buying from CRESCENT Mobiles, TTK Road, Chennai, they are sweet talkers but push you with bad stuff and pretend to support with no actual support.
