Wildfire in my hands!

It’s been a year since I have this mobile with me. After having shifted from my Sony w810i, I am doing more and more online stuff from my mobile now. This is also being written from my HTC (on quickoffice which is free along with the phone)!

Coming to the mobile, I went to the shop with Samsung galaxy ace as the first choice, but on comparing both I fell for the smaller and smarter looking HTC.

Internal memory - In one year this mobile has become old, running on gingerbread with a very low internal RAM. There are so many apps that you have to uninstall some apps to install new ones. One way is to install app back up and restore which keeps the .apk files in SD card and can be restored whenever needed without going to Google Play store.

Battery back up - For someone from a non smartphone background, it takes time to adjust to the daily (sometimes) twice daily charging schedule! However the use of tasker has increased the battery life by few hours!

Apps - Since nowadays apps are an important part I thought of enumerating a few important ones:

Tasker (paid)- Today my mobile goes into vibrator mode and out of it automatically, turns on wi fi when I am at home, turns gprs on at intervals, or when I open certain apps and lots more. Poweramp (paid) - While the inbuilt player is good enough this has excellent audio clarity!

Charger - Only problem I had in this year has been due to this as it stopped charging. Presently I am using a Samsung travel charger.

So overall, a good phone for someone wanting to try Android. I am certainly stuck to Android due to this, but will make sure of a phone with bigger space.
