Honor 6X is a metal clad smartphone. It has dual rear cameras. I have been using this smartphone from the better part of a month now and I saw that build quality is pretty much consistent. The 5.5 inch screen is comfortable to use by one hand. Its FHD display is good for reading. It dosent have type -C port.
In the backside it has dual cameras and fingerprint sensor and led flash. The processor is from kirin 655 is roughly slower than snapdragon 625 ( which is equivalent) , while its not exactly powerhouse of SoC but it can handle most of games and apps. Its anTuTu score is 57, 530; PC mark score is 4, 406; and 3D mark unlimited score is 7, 810. It has two variants in india with 3GB RAM with 32GB Rom and 4GB RAM with 64GB ROM .
The honor 6x dosent have dual-band wifi ac which is very common is this segment.
The phone runs on android 6.0
The UI of this phone pretty good with heavy customisations. It has preloaded health app.
Benchmark numbers are so high of this phone but in real performance world it has no slouch.
The phone get slow down when working with manual settings in camera app. Media is very good , the main camera’s sony sensor work well. It has wide aparture for good photos , you can get bokeh effects too. Focusing speed also good. And camera suffers from close object photos , it get grainy look.
The phone packs with 3340 mAh battery with fast charging support. It able to pass a day in a single charge , I test it with Hd video test , and it took 11 hours and 54 minutes. Which is very good. The honor 6x is dependable option to consider. Its prising starts at Rs 12999 to 15999. But other compatitor Moto G4 plus is better than this.
