Screen is of 5.7inch which is quad hd and as you hold the device it feels very good colors of the display are very clear and gives you insan feel from all the angles the screen feels really smooth over all Honor has putted a great screen panel
Auto brightness sensor is very good calibrated due to reason you can always put it on auto brightness and even it performs very good in indoor lighting conditions and yes it has all the sensors that you would expect even it has IR Blaster using which you can actually control devices like Television and air conditioner
Build quality is actually very good of this device from the back it’s metallic and it feels very solid to hold and it has gorilla glass 3 protection on the front in terms of build quality it feels like a premium build quality device when you hold it
It’s a dual sim hybrid device so you can put 2 nano sim or 1 nano sim and 1 micro Sd card in it but regarding storage you shouldn’t have a issue with this device
It has a single speaker at the bottom it does not have that stereo speaker but the single speaker is pretty loud and adequate no issues regarding the speaker
Headphone jack is really cool if you are a Music lover and listen a lots of music via headphones sound quality you get is insane the output sound from headphone jack really very good it also has a DTS Volume option
cellular call quality is very good the earpiece is very good give a clear voice and mic is also clear and catch voice clear
yes it has a physical notification led light it’s a tiny one placed in the earpiece and it is a Multicolored led light
General performance of the device is good I haven’t faced any issues regarding the performance and it runs on the Honor custom UI but I haven’t experienced any lagginess also the RAM management of device is well optimized it comes with the^6GB of RAM which makes your multitasking experience very good
10. Gaming Performance of the device is very Good tested with high end games . In gaming it has done really a good job even with asphalt 8 on full resolution settings I haven’t faced any lag but Yes back of the Phone get slightly warm while Playing heavy games
battery life was actually quite impressive it can last for typical working day battery life of this phone is slightly better than oneplus 5 . yes it supports the fast charging and Honor custom Fast charger is included in the box of the device which a 18 VOLT charger and it took about 1 Hour and 55 Mins to full charge it from 0% to 100%
It has a dual camera setup both of them are 12MP shooter the pictures in outdoor conditions are very good and the color reproduction is actually great and very natural it also have bokeh effect you can enable it and disable it the camera performance of this device was good in outdoor conditions but in the low lighting the camera won’t perform that much good comparing to the other flagship like Galaxy S8 and Pixel
Fingerprint scanner on the backside of the device and very fast and efficient and it is very responsive but sometimes it won’t recognize my finger print maybe it could be sweat on finger due to which it rejects my fingerprint
Cons( These are the reasons I am giving this device one star because it is important and you should Know about it)
- Screen quality is actually very good but in sunlight you have to struggle a little I have to tilt the device while using in the sunlight sometimes and I honestly think the screen should be more bright
2.(Major Reason Not to Buy) Although it is a camera centric phone but when you use camera for more than 10 Min the backside of the phone near fingerprint sensor starting heating a lot I am not saying it switch off but it heating is very much I was really disappointed by this .
Also it doesn’t have a optical image stabilization so you will get shaky videos which not good for device which is camera centric . you can shoot 1080P videos without much problems but 4K video Recording is terrible
In low lighting Conditions camera doesn’t do well you will get noisy images
And Honor won’t send regular updates you have to struggle for the updates
I prefer you to buy Oneplus 5 instead . the heating while using very disappointed me
