I was looking for a 3g dongle which has built-in wifi.
I saw good reviews about this particular product online and it fulfills all my expectations.
Its been a year since I was using this dongle.
As you people aware about the specs, I quickly go through the Pros Cons and my experience with this device.
Lets talk about good things first. You dont have to install any driver/software in order to make the device work. Its purely plug and play. Just plug in to any USB charging port and access the internet via wifi(secured). It works well with my power bank. LED indicators are helpful to know the device, wifi and connectivity status of the device. A password secured web portal will open as soon as we plug the device to laptop which enables us to manage/monitor the device. We can send USSD codes via web portal which helps to check the balance data/talktime in sim card. We can also read/send sim messages via web portal. An android app is available in play store with basic features of web portal
Cons: LED indicators are so thin like a dot which needs a close view to see the color of light in it. Device status, wifi and Connectivity statuses are shown in 2 LED’s through blink pattern and colors which needs some time to remember the pattern. Difficult to memorize the Indicator signals. For ex: blinking green for no network. blue for 3g etc. No memory card slot available
Verdict: Does its job for the money you paid. Should go for it
