Well, having seen the original movie named ’’GODFATHER’’ in malayalam, I had great expectations from this movie, but somehow it didn’t live upto the expectations. The movie has a great story which mostly would be grasped by people having a understanding of rural India.
Its about an enemity between two families, one headed by Amrish Puri having his four son and other by Lakshmi(remember the girl in Julie), where Amrish Puri has a big NO to entry of girls in the family and Lakshmi uses her grand daughter to take a revenge.
In comparison to the malayalam movie, the hindi one sounded like too much download as the movie looks a little too fast...its not easy paced....I guess priyadarshan would have been better off tuning this story a bit for hindi audience rather than just porting it as it is onto the hindi cinema screens..anyhow the cast if really good and the movie is quite a timepass comedy...but not as hilarious as hungama....
