Ek baat kahu …. Kuch nahi … If you have never been in such circumstances where you have lots to say to your love, but situation doesn’t allow you to do so, you can’t really feel, the in-depth meaning of this statement. Your emotions decant your heart, you feel to be lament but still you control the emotional deluge, so that you can put your best effort to make your love happy. The utmost hurt one feels when he listens the love story of a girl of his dream. The hurt gets worsen when he has to be a part of that story just to make her happy and to help her to get her love back. I must admire Ajay Devegan, for his fabulous acting and showing the real soreness of a person in such a great manner. You can actually feel the love, the hurt, the aversion, the annoyance, and the impasse on his face in this movie.

This movie spins around three characters. Each one of them has their own aphorism, they are confronting with scenarios. The effort made by Sanjay Lila Bhansali (director of this movie), to portray the characters with such great passion, is always commendable. This is the director who can put soul in any portrait and the job is well done here by Mr. Bhansali. His understanding of characters is always reflected through his movies. Each character in this movie is a victim of time and circumstances. They strive with their destiny to accomplish the responsibilities they perceive. Pleasant story with mind-blowing performances makes it a great memorable movie.

Vigilant and profound watch of this movie can escort you to feel a great love. Your soul may get soggy with your own howling. Have you noticed some of the lovely scenes of this movie? Let’s discus those beautiful scenes, I’m acquainted with. Ajay Devegan is full drunk and his inner feelings are about to chirp out and same time he is trying to control his emotions. He says, “Jab tum sameer ke pas chali jaogi to mujhe bhul to nahi jaogi na …. Mujhse milne to aogi na ….”. But he still repeats. “wo tumhe mujhse jyada kush rakhega…”. He has lots to say but he’s again stick to his as usual “ek baat kahu … Kuch nahi” avowal. Remember the scene where Aishwarya Rai says, “tum mahan banne ki koshish kyun kar rahe ho…” Ajay Devegan replies, “main koi mahan banne ki koshish nahi kar raha … main ye sab is liye kar raha hun kyunki main tumse pyar karta hun ..”. A practical thing, which always happens, when someone tries to be good. If he is her husband then it’s not his fault, can’t he love her? He is actually doing all things just to make her happy and that she also knows. She knows why he is doing all but she has her own dilemma and she wants to get out of this. I found many more scenes of this movie, which can be elaborated, and each one of them has intense meanings embedded. Watch out the scene where Salman is leaving her place, when her father got to know what’s her lovely daughter getting into, when Ajay Devegan reacts after knowing her past story, When Aishwarya meets Salman in Intaly. Each and Every scene is excellent and one could cherish the memory.

An understanding heart is everything, is a teacher, and cannot be esteemed highly enough. One looks back with appreciation to the brilliant teachers, but with gratitude to those who touched our human feeling. The curriculum is so much necessary raw material, but warmth is the vital element for the growing plant and for the soul of the child. I must admit that if you want to learn human feelings, if you want to learn emotions, just love someone deep from your heart without any prior expectations. That’s the best teacher, and nobody could compete that.

The climax or rather say ending of this story is something, which is not conventional, but still people loved it. Aishwarya says to Salman, “Tumne mujhe pyar karna sikhaya par pyar nibhana maine apne pati se sikha hai..”. Although Ajay Devegan never told her about his inner feelings but she knew the kind of love, respect he does, is beyond any enlightenment. Apart from these feelings, we have respect for our culture and we know “Jodian to upper me banti hain..”. We human beings just act as per our role defined by almighty. The kind of relationship we get from “sat fere”, “sindoor” and “mangalsutra” is ahead of any fad we go around in our life.

Yesterday I was just sitting with one of my friend and we were talking casually on human relationship. I shared some of my experiences with him and he told me that “kabhi kabhi apka jyada achha hona apke liye problem create kar deta hai”, people think you are doing all this goodie goodie things just for any self-ulterior motives although your intentions are right. This bilateral talk inspired me to write this review. I hope, I have done justice with my thought.
