Hum ne Tum ko Dekha...

Ever since the movie has released, I wanted to see it... First day, first show, but no one was ready to accompany me for Uuf kya jadoo mahobbat hai... So me and my friend ended up seeing Hum Tum First day second show!!!

Kunal Kohli’s Mujhse Dosti Karoge flopped... It didn’t lack anything major.. just that it had Kareena Kapoor... who is always too loud for her characters. So now, he came up with Hum Tum... starring Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukherji, Rishi Kapoor, Rati Agnihotri, Kiron Kher, Jimmy Shergill and some other ’’Surprise Packages’’

Saif Ali Khan is a cartoonist who has created the cartoon characters Hum and Tum, where former is a boy and latter is a girl.. He first meets Rani at the airport and since then they keep meet four more times in a span of Eight years!!!

Just like the cartoon characters, they keep on fighting with each other in their first meet, and later, that evolves into friendship and eventually results into love... (a typical bollywood funda...) but the cartoon characters make it look different...

When Rishi Kapoor was about to appear on screen, his back was turned towards audience and he was playing Mein shayar toh nahin, magar ae hasin....I was praying that he should not resemble Prof. Bakshi of Kucch to hai.. and ultimately, I was relieved that he didn’t appear permanently drunk!!!

I was also glad that Rati Agnihotri didn’t have the angered face and wasn’t moving here and there with feng shui crystals in her hand.. Kiron Kher manages to leave and impact on our minds by playing a role of Mrs. Parminder Prakash, but you can call me bobby... as a cheerful mother with a typical Punjabi accent!!

The Music of the movie is not that great...but it’s fair enough!! The music could have been better... The song ’’Ladki kyon.. ’’ song is a fun song.. with which most of us can relate ourselves as ’’boys’’ and ’’girls’’... It brings out the flaws and good points about them with perfect quantity of humour!

Basically, the formula of the movie is the same, but it is presented in a different way..’’old wine in new bottle’’... and the movie is quite quick paced... covering a span of about eight years in three hour, but not in the usual, ’’bees saal baad’’ styles

Saif has improved a lot since his Hamesha days and he is actually likeable in the movie!!... Rani Mukherji tends to go back to Saathiya and Chalte Chalte with her silly fights over nothing!!

There are a few undigestable things about the movie.. like... Rati and Rishi staying separate because of a silly reason and a few more, but then what would a Hindi movie be without any flaws??? As the tag like of Na Tum Jaano Na Hum went, kabhi kabhi uspe chhodna padta hai, the same way, kabhi kabhi dimag side pe rakhna padta hai!

But as a final word, the movie is worth seeing once... Its better than Mujhse Dosti Karoge... I still can’t convince anyone to accompany me for Uuf Kya Jadoo Mahobbat Hai!:((
