Hum Tum - well as the promos show it is all about the difference in guys and gal. It is also about how opposites attract.
I watched HUM TUM cause the promos were so cute plus the fact that Times of India had the cartoon strips and to add a further coating was Saif Ali Khan’s appearance on Jassi Jaisi Kohi Nahi.
Hum Tum is about a guy who is a complete opposite of the right kinda guy who keeps bumpong into this girl over and over again.
Confused! Well the movie travels back thru time. It takes you back 9 yrs and then starts deducting yrs from those 9yrs. Neither Rani or Saif are at one place for a long period of time. Its a sheer coincidence that they keep bumping into each oter so much. Its really strange! However each time they bump into each other they choose different paths and to characterize these difference, the director has added cartoons!
The cartoons are of HUM and TUM!
The cartoons are cute at the beginning but then as the movie progresses, they get really annoying.
However the movie does have some good stuff. For instance it has an amazing acting by Saif and Rani. They both look gorgeous.
Saif looks amazing. He just keeps getting better. As for Rani, she looks a bit plumpy but her wadrobe is amazing.
Kiron Kher is another actor who stands out fine as a typical Punjabi mom. She has small but a cool role. As for Rishi Kapoor, he has put on tonnes of weight!
Overall the movie is just a tid bit of timepass.
